Some time ago, PENDLR assisted with the redesign of the Salland2wielers store in Dalfsen. We visited Jerry and Marcel, the store owners, to hear how they and their customers are experiencing the new setup.
A more spacious layout, where all products are strategically placed along the walls so that customers can easily explore the store — according to Jerry and Marcel, that’s the biggest change compared to the previous setup. Previously, handlebars dominated the store interior, creating a cramped feeling.
“Now the store radiates a sense of space and clarity, without the floor space having changed.”
Jerry and Marcel recognize the valuable role PENDLR played in the store design process and appreciate how we were able to take the pressure off their shoulders. “I’d say we sell a bag with around 70% of all bikes, and since the new presentation of the bags, we’ve definitely seen an increase in sales.”
